Thespian Amitabh Bachchan is all set to share screen space with young actors like Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in forthcoming fantasy drama Brahmastra. The film will be directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Karan Johar.
The movie stars Amitabh Bachchan in a lead role and will be helmed by Ayan Mukerji under Karan Johar’s home banner Dharma Productions. Big B took to his Instagram page and shared a candid click of look test with Ranbir and Ayan.
Bg B captioned the picture on Instagram with a caption stating, “Ranbir Kapoor, Ayan and yours truly at look test for BRAHMASTRA …Cool…Shoot starts next month…with Alia too…A joy to be with this incredible young generation”
“Brahmastra” the Dharma Productions and Ayan’s third project together, comes four years after his successful romantic-comedy Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. The film is a magical romantic fairy tale set in contemporary times. It’s a film that has been written in a trilogy format so there will be three parts, which Ayan will make over a period of eight years.
Ranbir has been taking sword-fighting, horse-riding and dance lessons for the film and Alia Bhatt will also undergo extensive training for the film. The fantasy film is set to be a trilogy and the first part will be hitting the screens on August 15, 2019.
Apart from Brahmastra, Amitabh Bachchan will also be seen sharing screen space with Aamir Khan for the first time in upcoming Thugs Of Hindostan.
The Yash Raj Films banner “TOH” (Thugs of Hindostan) is directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya and also stars Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
