Amitabh Bachchan – Wraps Thugs of Hindostan in Thailand

Published on

Amitabh Bachchan wraps the shoot of “Thugs of Hindostan” in Thailand and shares a picture on social media.

Thugs of Hindostan is certainly one of the highly anticipated movies of 2018, considering the ensemble cast of Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Dangal girl Fatima Sana Shaikh.

Big B, who was shooting for the film in Thailand with Aamir and Fatima, has recently wrapped up the schedule and it seems the actor is quite elated. He took to Instagram to post an image from the film’s sets and wrote, “From the wilds and chills of Thailand after finishing schedule of TOH…‘Thugs of HINDOOSTAN ‘ now ready to go back to the warmth of MUMBAI and home”

“Thugs of Hindostan” is an upcoming period action-adventure film, written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. The film is based on Philip Meadows Taylor’s 1839 novel Confessions of a Thug, about a gang of Thugs who posed a serious challenge to the British Empire in India (then known as Hindustan or Hindostan) during the early 19th century.

Amitabh Bachchan will be playing a character named Ismail, who is a high-ranking Thug and the adoptive father of Ameer Ali, which is played by Aamir Khan, a prominent Thug who is of Pathan origin, orphaned as a child and raised by Thugs.

Thugs of Hindostan is set to be released during Diwali on 7 November 2018.
