Acclaimed Bollywood filmmaker Bejoy Nambiar who directed his first hindi movie Shaitan for Anurag Kashyap, has bought the Hindi remake rights of Tamil horror thriller Pizza.
Bejoy Nambiar insists that he will only produce the film. “I have bought the Hindi remake rights of Pizza, but I won’t direct it. I intend to produce the film under my banner Getaway Films. We are in the process of zeroing in on the cast and director. Once we are done with all that, I’ll make the official announcement.” said Bejoy who is presently making billingual thriller ‘David‘ along with Neil Nitin Mukesh, Tabu and south-star Vikram in the lead. The film is being made in Tamil and Hindi.
Pizza, The Tamil version is tauted to be a superbly running and appreciated film down south. The film was made in a very medium budget of 1.5 Crores, But with it’s limited multiplex release, The film is going very strong and running to packed houses. The film is a story of a Pizza Delivery guy named Michael who delivers Pizza late in the night at an isolated house and finds his world turning upside down.
