A FEW OF MY FAVOURITE THINGS is a niche brand for women, marketing a portfolio ofaffordable fashion accessories, aroma and home décor products, including angel figurines that are rarely available at prices and designs appealing to a seeker. Dedicated to total customer satisfaction, ina short period of time, the brand has expanded into services such as Pendulum guidance, Angel Card Reading and Cleansing and Energising of the angel jewellery and figurines. Sophisticated design smacking of distinctive individual style is the hallmark of A Few of My Favourite Things. Established in 2010, the store is located in the heart of New Delhi — at one of the most prolific upmarket malls, DLF Place, Saket. We have a presence also in another upmarket location at DLF Promenade, Vasant Kunj.
The stage store at DLF Saket is spread across 650 sq. ft. area, giving ample room for our customers to browse through at leisure and pick the look they desire for an occasion or season. Atouch of elegance is assured in every piece of accessory carefully hand-picked from various locations in India and abroad.
Exclusivity is what is promised and exclusivity is what is delivered. Only six pieces of every product is procured from our sources. We believe that individual style can hardly be mass-produced. Alot of thought goes into every aspect of selection, display and packaging. Each piece is carefully and individually selected for its characteristic to make a statement. Our customers would never find anything ordinary flamboyantly displayed and ridiculously priced at the store. A lot of thought has also gone in the packaging, which is made of eco-friendly material and designed to stylish elegance.

A Few of My Favourite Things by Puja Sharma is a lovingly started initiative. A presence in two locations and the cyberspace is not enough to reach every woman desiring a magical touch. But we are gradually moving there – to a time when every woman knows silently where she can pick a fewof her absolute favourite things. That’s where we are headed.
About PUJA SHARMA
There’s something about the sparkle of jewellery and the spunk of fashion that is irresistible, even through the rigours of a Political Science graduation. PUJA SHARMA, a Political Science graduate from Lady Shriram College, New Delhi, was coursing a different path through the early years of her life. The fires of her passion for fashion and jewellery were kindled with constant requests from family and friends for styling. It was in Holland that Puja finally decided to address her calling with due respect. She arranged for private exhibitions in American and British Schools with jewellery sourced from Delhi and Jaipur in India. About six of such exhibitions were organised, for which she was lauded greatly for her exquisite tastes in elegant fashionableness. Her passion again reclined to the back seat, until personal tragedy stuck. Adivorce and a four-year-old child made the need for financial independence critically crucial.
Back in India, Puja had only one way to go. Her hobby turned into a coveted profession as she took reins of the fashion account division of Archies pan India. It seemed like a long way to go because sheltered like a domestic animal, Puja had never learnt the ropes ofindependent life for eleven years as a married woman living abroad within the confines of her apartment. She had no knowledge of basic processes like writing out a cheque or even sendinga fax, but life had called, and Puja rose to answer. Like the proverbial fish taking to the proverbial waters, Puja thrived as the sales sky rocketed and products of Archies sourced by Puja received mass appreciation. Everything she picked was reflective of her keen eye for detail.
Soon enough the call for independent decision making and setting trends in the market surfaced again. Through her professional stint, one thought had always haunted Puja. She always wondered why the exquisiteness of fashion, beauty and elegance should be available toa few select women. Every woman, Puja reflected, irrespective of the size of her wallet, has the right to look and feel divine. This time, as the thought kept goading Puja, she decided – on afine impulsive day – that life needn’t always turn at the helm of tragedy. She took matters to her own hands and managed to dream something unthinkable.
She called it A Few of My Favourite Things. With a tiny nest egg, just sufficient to start it off, Puja took the plunge and put in her papers at Archies. The first seed was sown at DLF Place, Saket – a popular mall at the heart of the city. It was a cart to begin with which swelled as Puja’s dream gained energy and stretched outside its limits. The present store at 650 sq. ft. area is a stage store with ample room to house most of Puja’s passion.
A Few of My Favourite Things is a place women (and people who love women) can stroll around, taking their time picking up things for themselves and their loved ones, feeling very comfortable with the price tags on each piece. The dream was ‘affordable fashion’ and the great thing is that each of Puja’s favourite things, sourced from overseas, unique in some way or the other, is high on the elegance meter, and can be accommodated within the tag ofaffordability.
Like all great dreams, Puja’s wonderful concept has taken a life of its own. Through AFew of My Favourite Things, Puja now also offers succour along with the grace of beauty. The products still pan fashion accessories of the highest order, but the services introduced were more than just aesthetic upliftment. Unique in itself in a fashion store, the valued customers picking their favourite things from the store could now also avail of a special Angel Card Reading, Pendulum guidance and Energy Cleansing for the figurines bought at the store.
Puja Sharma is also an Angel Healer/Therapist who has been certified by the renowned Charles Virtue, who is himself an ACP (Angel Certification Program by Doreen Virtue) trainer.
Angels are of special significance in Puja Sharma’s life, and it extends on to her dream, A Few of My Favourite Things. She has a wide variety of unique angel figurines that have been sourced from abroad.
The services will soon be extended to offering complete angelic guidance in terms ofrevealing the special guardian angel, detailed card readings, etc. A special Archangel collectionof figurines, pendants and cards is also in the offing.
A Few of My Favourite Things is journeying to be the complete Women’s store in terms of addressing every woman’s need for accessories, and that includes both fashion and accessories for joy. Women across geographical boundaries can soon seek this name to hold their hand in time of their need, the size of their pockets notwithstanding.
Happiness comes from following a dream, no matter what the challenge.
