After teasing the fans with the first look, actor Dhanush finally unveils the music video of the first single “Rowdy Baby” from his forthcoming drama “Maari 2”.
Dhanush dropped the song on his social media profile. He captioned it, “Super excited to release the first single of #maari2 #rowdybaby…a Yuvan Shankar raja musical, Prabhu Deva choreography”
The new peppy and upbeat number is crooned by Dhanush and composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
The most anticipated gangster entertainer Maari 2, directed by Balaji Mohan, has also managed to get a “UA” certificate by the Censor Board.
The film also features Sai Pallavi, Robo Shankar, Krishna, Varalakshmi, and Vinoth in important roles. Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas plays the baddie in the film. The film is produced by Wunderbar Films.
Maari 2 is the sequel to Dhanush’s Tamil hit Maari and will be simultaneously shot in Tamil and Telugu as a bilingual. The project marks Balaji Mohan’s second collaboration with Dhanush. The first film starred Kajal Aggarwal opposite Dhanush.
Dhanush is currently busy with the shoot of his directorial film and he will soon begin shooting for his yet-untitled film with director Vetrimaaran. The multi-faceted actor also confirmed films with Ratsasan director Ram Kumar, Pariyerum Perumal director Mari Selvaraj and a film with his Kodi director Durai Senthilkumar.
