Model Dino Moreo tried hard to become a Bollywood star. But with zero acting skills and bad Hindi speaking skills, it was way too difficult for him to do that. He’s still struggling hard. Having six pack abs and a great body doesn’t ensure B-Town success, does it?
‘Raaz’ was a surprise success and movies that came thereafter- ‘Fight Club: Members Only’, ‘Holiday’, ‘Aksar’, ‘Baaz: A Bird in Danger’, ‘Tom, Dick, and Harry’, ‘Chehraa’, ‘Rakht’, ‘Insaaf: The Justice’, ‘Plan’, ‘Ishq Hai Tumse’
‘Sssshhh..’, ‘Gumnaam: The Mystery’, ‘Heroes’ , ‘Karzzzz’ , ‘Anamika’, ‘Bhram’, ‘Dus Kahaniyaan’, ‘Life Mein Kabhie Kabhiee’, ‘Aap Ki Khatir’ and even ‘Heroes’ and Himesh’s ambitious ‘Karzzzz’ have been pretty bad.
But Dino has something really good to fall back on. His Crepe station, his seaside cafe in Mumbai which he runs along with his brother is doing quite well. Maybe his mixed background (Italian and Anglo Indian) helps him with it.
Now he’s has extended his restaurant business to Chandigarh as well.
He’s said, “As much as films is my passion, so is food. This restaurant is for the youth, and people from all over who believe in healthy and hygienic food. We cater to all kinds of tastes from tandoori to Italian.”
Well, that’s understandable since with back to back flops, what more can he expect, no matter how passionate he’s about cinema? A safety net of that kind is always welcome.
