Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan graced the Red-carpet of Lux Golden Rose Awards here in Mumbai. During her media interaction, Kareena expressed that according to her every actress in the industry is an achiever.
“All the actresses who are getting an award tonight; be it Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone or Katrina Kaif, I think all of them are great achievers in their careers. We all have worked for more than 12-15 years, so taking one name wouldn’t be nice because, for me, I think everybody is an achiever” said Kareena Kapoor, when asked about who is her favorite in Bollywood.
Recently Dangal Famed actress Zaira Wasim became an unfortunate victim of molestation mid-air. The 17-year-old actress, in an Instagram post, had alleged that the passenger, who was sitting behind her in the Air Vistara flight, was rubbing his foot against her back and neck while she was half asleep.
When Kareena Kapoor was asked about her take on the situation, where women are molested, and actress quipped that women are superior to men and will fight their way out of any given situation.
“I think women are way more superior than men. We are fighters and whatever the situation might be in our life, be is personal or professional, we all come out as fighters because like I said before, we call our god Laxmi, we pray to her and she is women, and we talk about our land, we call it Motherland (Dharti Maa), so women are way more superior, we will fight out of every situation in life” said Kareena Kapoor.
Celebrities like Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, Sridevi, Madhuri Dixit, Juhi Chawla, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Bhumi Pednekar, Sushant Singh Rajput were among those who made an appearance for the awards night.
Kareena Kapoor also bagged an award for “I Am More Than You Can See Award” at the ceremony.
On the work front, Kareena Kapoor is bust wrapping her first venture with Sonam Kapoor titled “Veere Di Wedding” helmed by Shashanka Ghosh.
The movie is slated for 18th May 2018 release.
