Farhan Akhtar – Quit Facebook Permanently

Singer-Actor-Producer Farhan Akhtar quit the social media platform “Facebook” as he has “permanently” deleted his account.

Farhan Akhtar just took to his social media account, Twitter and made the announcement about quitting the Facebook permanently. He wrote, “Good morning. This is to inform you all that I have permanently deleted my personal Facebook account. However, the verified FarhanAkhtarLive page is still active”
The actor didn’t shares his reasons for quitting the social media platform, but it is believed that in the wake of Cambridge Analytica Scandal, the UK data analysis firm hired by Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign, harvested and misused data on 50 million members from Facebook might have propelled the actor to quit Facebook.
On the acting front, Farhan Akhtar was last seen in Lucknow Central, which was a prison drama film, directed by Ranjit Tiwari and produced by Nikhil Advani, under the banner of Emmay Entertainment.
Currently Farhan Akhtar is working on the revival of Don Franchise, it has been reported that actor will soon be returning to writing and directing chair with the potential sequel Don 3.
Farhan Akhtar also expressed the desire to take the story forward, and said that he was fascinated by the character of Don. However the filmmaker also insisted that he wanted to explore other genres and that he didn’t want to get restricted.
