Aamir Khan who was last seen in the Fantasy film, ‘Thugs of Hindostan,’ says he feels bad for not being able to entertain the audience and will try his best again.

Aamir Interacted with media on Tuesday during the Cinestaan India’s Storytellers Script Contest’s Grand Finale.

Aamir Khan’s latest release and the multi starrer, ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ failed at the box office as well as at the mind of the audience. When asked to comment on the film’s poor performance at the box office he said, “I want to apologize to people who came to watch the film because we were not able to entertain them. We tried our best but for our audience who came to the theater with expectations did not have fun. I am feeling very bad that we were not able to entertain them.”

The ‘Dangal’ star was asked if he had any idea prior how the film will perform and what went wrong, he confessed, “I would rather not talk about it in public. Every film I work on is very close to me. Its like my baby and its failure is mine also.”

Aamir’s ‘Pehla Nasha’ co-star Shah Rukh after the release of ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ went on to say the audience was too hard to criticize the film.

When asked Aamir if he thinks the same he said, “I think an audience is free to say what they want to say about a film. As for me what I can say is we certainly tried our best and I am feeling bad that we did not succeed. And next time we will try harder.”
