Ali Fazal has two important releases in the year of 2017. One is his sequel of hit film Fukrey and other one is in Hollywood named as ‘Victoria and Abdul’ which will mark his debut in Hollywood along with Oscar winning actress Judi Dench. Ali Fazal attended special screening of Shweta Rohila starrer short film Parineeti in Mumbai. While speaking to the media Ali revealed that Fukrey Return will be far better film than its previous installment Fukrey.
Talking about development on Fukrey Returns, Ali said, “Shooting of the film has been completed. Only shoot of 1-2 songs is remaining. This time around, film will have lots of comedy with whole new twist to the story. I am sure audience is going to like this because this is something I am really satisfied with. Fukrey Returns will be far better movie than its previous part.”
Ali Fazal also talked about his upcoming Hollywood film Victoria and Abdul which is set to release worldwide in September, he said, “I am really happy that trailer of the film has been well received in India and abroad as well. I am very proud to represent my country as an actor on that level. It is coming out in September and before that we will be doing huge run across the globe”.
Lots of bollywood top players tweeted about Ali’s latest Hollywood movie, talking about it, Ali said, “Karan has been very sweet and supportive in my career. I have had great mentors in the industry from AAmir Khan to Shah Rukh Khan and I am grateful to everyone. I am just lucky to be part of that film. It’s a great moment for all of us because its one step even further before”.
Fukrey Return is produced by Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani and Fox Star Studios. It is directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba.
It stars Ali Fazal, Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh, Priya Anand and Vishakha Singh in lead roles.
It is releasing on 8 December, 2017.
