Do Baat Pakki‘ is a romantic comedy. It’s a Fun-filled family drama about real-life relationships and bonding.

Tell us about your character in the film.

I am playing Tabu’s younger sister in the film. Tabu’s life in the film revolves around me. She wants me to get settled in life and so she is looking for a groom for me. My character is very much a girl next door.

How was it working with Tabu?

She is an amazing actor. At times she is so natural you cannot make out that she is acting. It was great learning experience with her.

How was she off-screen?

She is an amazing human being. We would keep clicking pictures all the time and had riotous fun on sets.

What exactly did you do in between the shots?

Lot of pranks use to happen. I remember at times they would not even roll the camera and I kept delivering my lines. We also use to play dumb charades.

Have you bid adieu to Television?

No. I don’t mind doing television, provided I get brilliant role to do. I can’t quit TV, as I have started from there and have also enjoyed doing it. Good script is always welcomed.

What kind of roles you would like to do?

I have just started, so I cannot afford to be choosy. But script does matter to me, as film work for its script.

Would you like to be a star or an actor?

I want to be an actor rather than a star. If I am an actor and would not be appreciated for being one than what is my achievement as an actor! I would like to do a wide-range of roles in my career.

Would you like to go bold onscreen?

I do films for its good script not for the image making or breaking. I don’t think any film works only because actress has donned revealing clothes, had it been so, then every film that is made would have bikini shots. I don’t want to be just a glam doll in the film, if I had to be one, I would have done modeling.
