We have chosen around 20 newcomers as contestants and the channel has started training them now. Gradually as we start shooting, we will experience the newcomer’s talent. As far as the criteria are concerned we will have to look out for everything performance, personality, dance, action.”

Rohit says India’s Next Superstar “will telecast in Jan, we haven’t even shot for the premiere yet.”

Rohit who has hosted events and segments earlier hosted the entire ‘Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards’ for the first time.
