Makers of ‘Breathe’ hosted a special screening of their digital series on Tuesday in Mumbai. Amit Sadh while present at the screening said international studios are coming to India for our rich content, stories, and characters.
Amit who has been part of Tv, Films, and Digital Platform was asked about actors juggling to work in films and Digital platform, Sadh said, “I don’t think there is any kind of wall to work in these mediums. No one is jumping from one side to another. I think in India, it is very exciting time. We are making films, digital series and entire world’s attention is here because our country is filled with different kind of stories and characters. I don’t think any other part of world has that therefore, international studios are coming here to create content and through web series, we are creating a new audience”
Sadh who plays a pivotal role in the Amazon original series said he is happy with the response to Breathe’s trailer and is excited about their response to the series. “I am very excited for ‘Breathe’ as our entire team has worked really hard on this project. Today is the first time we will be sharing the first time we will be sharing first four episodes of series.”
“We have been getting a good response for the trailer of ‘Breathe’ through the medium of YouTube. People say that if the trailer works, half the battle is won but I am waiting until 26th January to know the real reaction from the audience.” he added.
Bollywood celebrities Sapna Pabbi, Vicky Kaushal, R. Madhavan, Arshad Warsi, Arbaaz Khan, Sooraj Pancholi attended the special screening.
In ‘Breathe’, R. Madhavan plays a father is willing to go to any length to save his child from a possibly cruel end. Amit Sadh plays the role of a cop Kabir Sawant in the series, even after disturbed life, he performs his duty with complete honesty.
The Amazon Original series has been written and directed by Mayank Sharma. It also stars Hrishikesh Joshi, Sapna Pabbi, Atharva Vishwakarma and Neena Kulkarni in lead roles.
First 3 episodes of ‘Breathe’ will be aired on 26th January and following 1 episode in each week.
