On Friday, Sohal Ali khan attended painting artist Bharat Thakur’s artistic yoga painting exhibition along with Swara Bhaskar, Sangeeta Bijlani and Pooja Chopra in Mumbai. While speaking with media at the event she reacted to her recent controversy when she wore saree on Eid despite being Muslim calling it ridiculous on the part of social media trollers.
Soha Ali Khan recently posted a couple of pictures of herself with husband Kunal Khemu. She was seen wearing a pink sari, and it looked like the party here was a traditional baby shower for Soha. While many of her fans did love the adorable pictures she posted, there were others who slammed the actor for not wishing Eid or mentioning the same in the post. Not only has the post slammed the actor for wearing a sari, and not acting like a Muslim woman.
Reacting to that, Soha said, “It was ridiculous.. so I don’t think it requires any kind of response. I think it was close to Eid and I was wearing saree and that was the problem that few people had but I don’t think it really dignifies a response”.
When asked her about turning painter in the future, She said, “I have always scared of expressing myself because I feel to become an artist, you need to go to school and you really have to be schooled in this but now I know that Bharat Thakur also hasn’t took any formal art education in it so I think it is possible because I am not trained painting artist but I am fond of seeing paintings since my childhood. We have lots of paintings in our house. I always like the idea of having brush in my hands and play with it. I will do slightly abstract painting because I am not able to paint within lines”.
Soha Ali Khan is expecting a baby, talking about her pregnancy phase, she said, “In our house, all are excited and we are waiting for the moment. I don’t know what future holds but I know that I will learn a lot in the motherhood process as well so I am looking forward to it”
“I have been doing yoga for many years especially in last 3 months. I got peace, fitness and flexibility form it and I would encourage everybody to follow it”.
Soha last seen in Sunny Deol’s Ghayal Once Again which released in 2016.
Soha has penned book titled The Perils Of Being Moderately Famous, which she hopes to publish in December.
