Timeless and classic beauty actress Sridevi graced the red-carpet of Lux Golden awards here in Mumbai. During her media interaction actress, Sridevi expressed that her daughter Jhanvi Kapoor is hard working and dedicated girl.
Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s daughter Jhanvi Kapoor is making her big Bollywood debut opposite Ishaan Khatter in upcoming Dhadak, and Sridevi as a mother is full of emotional turmoil.
“It is a great feeling like I am excited, nervous, and happy and concerned, as any mother would be but she is very hard working and very dedicated girl,” said Sridevi talking about her daughter Jhanvi.
Dhadak is an upcoming romantic drama film based on 2016 Marathi language film, Sairat. The film is directed by Shashank Khaitan and produced by Dharma Productions and Zee Studios.
Sridevi also bagged an Award for power performance at the Lux Golden Awards and expressed her happiness over her association with Lux.
“I think I got an award for power performance of the year or something. I am honored and extremely flattered. I have been associated with Lux for many years, so I am extremely happy to be part of this” added Sridevi.
Recently Dangal famed actress Zaira Wasim became an unfortunate victim of molestation mid-air. The 17-year-old actress, in an Instagram post, had alleged that the passenger, who was sitting behind her in the Air Vistara flight, was rubbing his foot against her back and neck while she was half asleep.
Sridevi finds the whole thing scary and upsetting. She said, “It is a very unpleasant thing to know, it is really scary and very upsetting. It really scares me, so what do I say, I am in shock”
Dhadak is slated for 6th July 2018 release.
