Here comes the good news for Saif Ali Khan fans, finally his forthcoming movie, Kaalakaandi has a release date.
The official handle of “Kaalakaandi” announced the release date along with first still from movie on social media. It wrote, “#Kaalakaandi, a thrilling dark comedy *ing #SaifAliKhan, directed by #AkshatVerma is coming your way on 8 Sept’17”
Produced by Cinestaan Film Company, the film stars Saif Ali Khan, Deepak Dobriyal, Vijay Raz, Kunal Roy Kapoor, Sobhita Dhulipala, Akshay Oberoi, Isha Talwar, Shenaz Treasury, Shivam Patil, Amyra Dastur and Neil Bhoopalam is slated for September 8, 2017 release.
The directorial debut of Delhi Belly writer Akshat Verma, this thrilling dark comedy is the story of six characters from different worlds, urban, ambitious Mumbai and its dark, neglected underbelly, a raucous tale about life, death, karma, that barrels through one monsoon night.
Written specifically with Saif in mind, it took over two years before the script finally got to the actor. After he read it though, he said yes in five minutes.
