Recently Kailash Kher was in Delhi for the promotion of his new album “Kailasa- Jhoomo Reâ€. Meaning of Kailasa is love and passion infects Kailasa; a band formed by Kailash Kher, Paresh Kamath and Naresh Kamath has performed at Gigs in India and abroad. Kailash and his team is together belt out a brilliant synthesis of Sufi, folk and contemporary music. The band was the musical dynamite of Femina Miss India 2004, the Radio Mirchi Kaan awards 2004, and Sarhadon ki jugalbandi (a concert on the Indo-Pak theme). Kailasa touched a high by performing with A.R.Rahman at ‘I Believe’, a show conceived by the Hon. President of India, Mr. A. P. J. Kalaam. Their most recent performance was Sajda, a concert shown live on television in September 2004.
Their first album, Kailasa, which was released in 2006 was an enormous success with some of the most popular songs of last year like ‘Teri Deewani’ and ‘Tauba Tauba’ featuring in it.
