On Tuesday, actress Kalki Koechlin was present to launch her upcoming video ‘Noise’ in collaboration with Culture Machine which will release on You Tube channel ‘Blush’. While speaking to media Kalki stated that there is more noise of social media other than anything else.
She said, “According to me, there is more noise of social media. There are many opinions which keep changing on variety of issues on social media and after certain point of time, we automatically tend to forget that news. I feel, each time, we shouldn’t comment on things so instead of that we should try to solve those things by doing it on our own”.
She added, “I know we can’t avoid noises but sometime I feel the need to go in mountains to switch off from our daily life to understand what life is all about. Life is not about running to the next job and doing the next thing. It’s about people we love and respect the other human beings”
Talking about her new video ‘Noise’, she said, “This is my second video with Culture Machine. My first video ‘Printing Machine’ did quite well and now we have made second video ‘Noise’. It’s a poem about various noises in our cities and country including news, traffic, religious sound and political sound so in that process of our daily routine we are forgetting to have our own voice and opinions that is the theme of this video. It is releasing on 21 June on the eve of world music day.”
Talking about response for recently released film Death In The Gunj’, she said, “Death in the Gunj is getting really good response in terms of reviews,. It’s amazing that it’s running in its 3rd week despite the fact that it’s a English language film. Apart from that, I am first time working in a web series Smoke which will release soon”.
