One of the most prolific filmmakers, producer and style Icon – Karan Johar has turned the star of the month for MW India magazine. The filmmaker is gracing the latest cover spread of leading fashion and style magazine for the entire September.
The official handle of MW India dropped the cover on social media. It said, “Brace yourself as we present our cover star of the month, the multi-talented Karan Johar (@karanjohar)”
On the cover, Karan Johar is sporting a long hooded coat paired with a front panel insert sweatshirt and street utility boots by Hilfiger Collection, Tommy Hilfiger. The filmmaker is looking super dapper.
Karan Johar also shared the cover, he wrote, “On the cover of @mw_indiashot by @rohanshrestha at the gorgeous @gaurikhan studio!”
After the successful Lust Stories anthology, Karan Johar has announced his next film Takht, a period drama based in the Mughal era, which will feature an ensemble cast including Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor.
With a screenplay by Sumit Roy and dialogues by Hussain Haidry, this will be the first film directed by Johar that he has not written himself. It is currently scheduled to release in 2020.
