September 2, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Priyanka Chopra is one of the busiest actresses these days and that is quite visible from the list of the films in her kitty this year. But, this is not enough good reason for director Kunal Kohli, who is miffed with the actress for denying being a part of his film.
There is a report that director Kunal Kohli approached the lively actress for a movie, which he is doing with Saif Ali Khan as the male lead. But, Priyanka being over busy with her seven films, could not manage to find dates for him. Moreover, the 28 year old actress has now agreed to work with producer Sajid Nadiadwala, which also stars Saif. This has not gone well with Kohli and he is apparently quite angry with Priyanka. Kohli has been chasing Priyanka for some time so he was disappointed with her reaction.
A source was quoted stating that some industry professional have been approached by Kunal expressing his disappointment. Moreover, Priyanka also got to know about this and she was taken aback.
The source further revealed that Kunal is not in the mood to understand that Priyanka is too busy to take up any new project. She is about to finish ‘Saat Khoon Maaf’ by Vishal Bhardwaj, then she will move on for ‘Race 2’, ‘Don 2’ and ‘The Italian Job’. Besides this, the actress is now busy shooting for her television venture ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ and also doing some endorsements in between.
However, on his part, Kunal Kohli was quoted saying that he did not approach Priyanka for any movie. The director said that he would do a film with Saif but the heroine is not finalized yet.
