Filmmaker Karan Johar is all praises for the Varun’s upcoming release, October with Banita Sandhu. Karan twitted Wednesday the film sucks you into its world and absorbs you completely.
Karan’s tweet read, “#October is absolutely beautiful… just beautiful….sucks you into its world and absorbs you completely…I felt like I was standing there with the characters and feeling their every beat and emotion….@ShoojitSircar and @writeonj are a genius team!”
He added another post saying, Dan is the most real character he had met at the movies. “@Varun_dvn as Dan is a character I have never met at the movies before! Flawed but so real and so intuitively hearful…..by the end of the film you root for him with a heavy heart….undoubtedly his best work to date…..”
Marking the moment when Karan watched the film with David Dhawan Varun and director Shooojit, Varun snapped the picture and shared on his Twitter account.
The tweet read, “2 DaDS and one dada @karanjohar @ShoojitSircar #DaViddhawan. Last night I was all nerves as my dad and Karan saw #October as well as @ShashankKhaitan but this picture is a memory I shall never forget. #legends”
The film produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar stars Varun Dhawan and Banita Sandhu in the lead roles.
‘October’ written by Juhi Chaturvedi and presented under Rising Sun Films banner is scheduled to release on April 13.
