After Bareilly Ki Barfi and Nil Battey Sannata, Director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari has announced her latest project Panga, which stars Kangana Ranaut, Neena Gupta, and Jassie Gill. Now we hear that veteran actor Pankaj Tripathi is also part of the ensemble.
Filmmaker Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari confirmed the news on her social media. She wrote, “Har baar ‘family’ jaise saath dene ke liye shukriya Welcome to the #Panga family my dearest @TripathiiPankaj ?? ???? ???? ????? @foxstarhindi #pangastories”
Panga is said to be the story of a new-age family who challenges stereotypes and dares to dream. It promises to reaffirm the belief that nothing is impossible for a family which laughs, cries and dreams together.
Actor Panjak Tripathi also confirmed being onboard Panga. The actor shared a picture with his family and wrote, “While I’m blessed to have my family, I’m excited to be a part of my new #Panga family. ???? ???? ??? ???? ????? ?? ???? ??????? ??? ????. Pankaj Tripathi has earlier worked with Ashwiny in Bareilly Ki Barfi and Nil Battey Sannata. The film Panga would mark the third collaboration between the director and actor.
The film follows the life of a national-level kabaddi player, played by Kangana Ranaut. Punjabi singer-actor Jassie Gill stars as Kangana’s husband in the upcoming film and Neena Gupta plays a special role.
