The baddie of Baahubali, actor Rana Daggubati makes his birthday super special for all his fans, unveils the title poster of his upcoming movie “Haathi Mere Saathi” and confirms the first look release date.
“Haathi Mere Saathi” is the title of Rana Daggubati’s new film. The film will be going on floors next year in Thailand. The film will be a tribute of sorts to late legendary actor Rajesh Khanna, who featured in the original, but will have an entirely fresh storyline.
On the special day of his Birthday, Rana Daggubati released the title poster. He captioned it, “My next is on its way!! #HaathiMereSaathi first look on January 1st 2018!!”
The makers of the film also confirmed the news; the official twitter handle of Eros Now? shared the poster. There caption read, “Here’s presenting the official title of Eros International’s Trinity Pictures #HaathiMereSaathi starring @RanaDaggubati. The trilingual film’s first look, directed by #PrabhuSolomon to be unveiled in January 2018. @ErosNow @AjitkThakur”
Haathi Mere Saathi will be shot in Hindi, Telugu and Tamil. The movie starts shooting in January 2018 in Thailand. The remake is helmed by Prabhu Solomon, starring Rana Daggubati in the lead.
Rana Daggubati, a south superstar, is best known for playing the tyrannical Bhallala Deva in S S Rajamouli’s Baahubali series of films. Apart from Telugu and Tamil projects, Rana Daggubati also has Bollywood films like Dum Maaro Dum, Baby, Department and The Ghazi Attack on his resume.
