Ranbir confesses that he is a big tech geek

Ranbir Kapoor talked about his interest in technology and gadgets, he said, “I think I am a big tech geek. I love technology and gadgets. The newest gadget that I am using right now is Lieca camera. It’s a monochrome camera. It only clicks black and white pictures that something I really love and off course I am big fan iphone 7S”.

When asked him about whether any technology has been used in Jagga Jasoos film, Ranbir replied, “No. because it’s a detective film so what happens is technology makes everything very easy so we set it in a time and a land where you don’t that much but you use internet to do some research but we haven’t gone in technology part of the world”.

He also talked about what he does before buying technological device or gadgets, he said, “You have to do lot of research and you have to take lot of recommendations from friends or somebody who already used it. The competition now is so fierce, there are so many brands in the market so everyone is pushing the barriers of technology be it in television, mobile or any other devices but I feel it has to be a personal taste, you have to have personal connect with the product”.

Katrina also talked about her technological preferences at the event, she said, “I do like digital cameras and portable chargers that would be main thing when I am travelling or vacationing.”

“Apart from that, I am really into my phone these days especially now that I am on instagram so I am always looking for new apps and those photo taking apps which makes picture look interesting and head phones. I am also really big into headphones. I always look for right and perfect headphones especially to use it in the gym”.

Jagga Jasoos is a story of a young detective, played by Ranbir Kapoor, who is in search of his missing father. Katrina Kaif features as his accomplice. The film marks Ranbir’s second collaboration with director Anurag Basu. They previously worked together in 2012 movie Barfi!.

The film is said to be a Musical and will have a lot of songs. There will be total of 29 songs in the film and will be part of the narrative. Ranbir Kapoor will be seen singing most of his dialogues rather than saying them. T-Series will release the film soundtrack album. All songs are composed by Pritam.

Jagga Jassos took almost 3-4 years to its release. The film was originally going to release on November 27, 2016, but due to conflicting commitments by the lead actors, the film’s release date was pushed to April 2017. Then the director called back Ranbir and Katrina for re-shooting of some scenes on the set and the film is once again pushed to release on July 14, 2017.
