Randeep Hooda – Hails Appointment of Female Indian Defence Minister

Indian Government is taking positive steps towards Women Empowerment, after abolishing “Triple Talaq” and putting women molesting Baba behind bars, the official has appointed Female Indian Defence Minister and actor Randeep Hooda couldn’t be happier.

Sultan Actor Randeep Hooda hails the decision of appointing woman Defence Minister in the Indian government, says it is one of the biggest signs of women empowerment in the country.

Randeep Hooda posted on his social media account, he wrote, “A woman Defence Minister is one of the biggest signs of women empowerment in any country”

Nirmala Sitharaman was on Sunday named India’s Defence Minister in a reshuffle-cum-expansion of his council of ministers carried out by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

On work front, Actor Randeep Hooda is currently prepping for his role in upcoming “Battle of Saragarhi”, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi.
The film is based on the “Battle of Saragarhi” that took place in 1897 between the British Indian Army and the Afghan Orakzai tribesmen, in the North-West Frontier Province (now Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan).

Earlier Randeep, released his first look on social media, he also mentioned that he will be playing the role of Havildar Ishar Singh, the military commander of the 36th Sikhs in the movie.

The film will depict the true story of the 19th century battle when around 12,000 Afghans attacked a British Indian contingent, which also comprised 21 Sikhs who went on to become the heroes of the mission.
