Actor Ranvir Shorey launched Vandana Shah’s ‘Divorcekart’ app on Wednesday in Mumbai. It’s an app to guide people through the divorce related legal process in India. It sifts the relevant information from the irrelevant information. It provides a 360 degree view of the divorce related legal process in India.
Talking about ‘Divorcekart’ app, Shorey said, “I feel an app like ‘Divorcekart’ is very necessary in the world because the gender rules in the entire world are changing. Men want something and women want something else in their life and relationship so in times like this there is lot of pressure on the institution of marriage and because of this pressure many men and women suffer in their personal lives”
“When you feel you are trapped in a situation then that is not healthy for anybody as it affects you as human being from societal and personal pressure therefore, an app like ‘Divorcekart’ is very nice idea. Today we have apps for everything, right from ticket booking for films to dining. The features includes in this app is like social service which gives you 24*7 advice when are along and in trouble. Lawyers are also there to guide through the phase of divorce”
“I feel one should not see divorce in negative light and we should also see positives of it. When two individuals don’t get along with each other then I feel it’s not the end of life and they can always rebuild their life. I am happy that Vandana is my friend and she has done this so I wish her all the best and I want everyone out there to know that if you are in a situation like this then please remember to download ‘Divorcekart’ app. It’s one of the Asia’s and world’s first of its kind”
When a reporter asked Shorey that do you think number of divorce will increase with the use of this app, Shorey slammed reporter saying, “If an app like ‘Book My Show’ is there, then do you think sale of film’s ticket will increase only because of that or a home buying and selling related app is there, then sale of home will increase, it doesn’t work like this. This app is very convenient tool and it will facilitate people when they are at their homes and they don’t have to go anywhere else and it will also save lot of their money which cost for legal advice so that’s the difference”
