Veteran Actor Rishi Kapoor always try and do something new in each of his film and forthcoming Mulk is no different. The actor released his first look from the film and he looks intense in his new avatar.
The actor took to Twitter to share his first look from the movie. He put it as his display picture. Rishi Kapoor will be seen playing the role of a Muslim guy and with a beard and cropped hair, the actor pulls off his look quite splendidly.
Bollywood actor Neena Gupta has been roped to essay the role of Rishi Kapoor’s wife in the film and has begun her training for the role already.
A social thriller based on true life events, Mulk has already gone on floors. It will also feature Taapsee Pannu, Prateik Babbar and Rajat Kapur. The film will be shot in Varanasi and Lucknow and is scheduled to release early next year. The film is produced by Benaras Media Works.
Screenplay writer-producer Mushtaq Shiekh will be the associate producer of Mulk. The plot of the film revolves around the story of a joint family who hails from a small town in India, who are out to reclaim their honor after being embroiled in a controversy.
Apart from Mulk, Rishi Kapoor is also prepping for his role in upcoming “102 Not Out” with Amitabh Bachchan. The movie is an upcoming comedy-drama based on a running Gujrati play written by Saumya Joshi by the same name and is being directed by Umesh Shukla.
