Salman Khan says his father wanted him to play cricket

Published on

Bollywood actor Salman Khan says that Salim Khan, his father, wanted him to play cricket for India.

He says that Salim Durani, an ex-Indian cricketer, was hired to coach him and even said he had a good future in cricket.

He said the only reason he didn’t follow that path was because he couldn’t imagine waking up at 5:30 every morning.

He finds his current life difficult already, with cricket, it would have been too difficult.

He spoke about all this while at the launch of Sania Mirza’s Ace Against Odds, her autobiography.
