Sanjay Dutt in “The Good Maharaja”

Sanjay Dutt and Omung Kumar are collaborating for one more movie, titled The Good Maharaja, the first look poster is out and viral!

Sanjay Dutt and Omung Kumar are currently promoting upcoming Bhoomi, which is based on an emotional drama revolving around a father and daughter, the movie is set to release next month.

Now the news is viral that Sanjay Dutt and Omung Kumar are teaming up again for a film titled ‘The Good Maharaja’. The makers of the project released the first poster, where Sanjay is donning a royal look.

In the historical film, the veteran actor will be playing the role of Maharaja Jam Sahib Digvijaysinhji Ranjitsinhji, the ruler of Nawanagar, a princely state in British India. The King during his reign provided shelter to hundreds of abandoned Polish children during World War II.

The film will be an English-Polish production and Omung has been working on it for about a year-and-a-half. They also met the Polish government officials last year to work out shooting permissions for the film.

The movie will be officially announced shortly with all the other details. As for Bhoomi, the movie also stars Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharad Kelkar, Shekhar Suman and Sidhant Gupta.

The movie plot is based on the revenge. In past Sanjay Dutt already acted in “Pitaah” released on 2002 based on same type of plot. The film is scheduled to release on September 22, 2017.
