Sanjay Dutt rocked the silver-screen in his baddie avatar opposite Hrithik Roshan in remake Agneepath. Now the badass actor is all set to give Ranbir Kapoor run for his money in upcoming Shamshera, as he has been signed by Yash Raj Films in play the bad guy in the period drama film.
Yash Raj Films just confirmed that Sanjay Dutt will be playing the villain in upcoming Shamshera starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead. Yash Raj Films have signed on Ranbir Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt for an epic action drama titled Shamshera, directed by Karan Malhotra.
The movie is a period action-adventure film. This also marks Sanjay Dutt’s first film with YRF. Shamshera is set to go on the floors by the end of this year and shooting will wrap by mid-2019.
Apart from that Shamshera, Ranbir also has Brahmastra in the pipeline wherein he will be sharing screen space with Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, and Mouni Roy.
As for Sanju – the biopic has already got everyone talking. His uncanny resemblance to Dutt has left everyone shocked and overwhelmed at the same time. The movie also stars Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Karishma Tanna, Paresh Rawal Manisha Koirala among others.
Sanjay Dutt is busy with Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 3, Torbaaz, Kalank and Panipat.
