Dishoom Famed Actor Saqib Saleem confirms a movie with Taapsee Pannu on the sidelines of Celebrity Ink Cricket Blast 2017.
“I am finishing a film that is tentatively called Makhna, which will come out early next year. The movie features me and Taapsee Pannu. And I am supposed to start a film on 9th of November but I will tell you more about it in coming time” said Saqib Saleem while interacting with media.
Makhna is produced by Vashu Bhagnani, who earlier produced the critically acclaimed Sarbjit, the film is shot in London.
Ink Cricket Blast 2017 is an innovative initiative to create awareness about cancer. The celebrities like Zayed Khan, Rajneesh Duggal, Saqib Saleem, Varun Sharma, Guru Randhawa and more stepped out for a friendly cricket match to create awareness and raise funds for Cancer.
Talking about the cause, Saqib added, “I strongly connect with it because we’re trying to create awareness here. I think it is a great cause. And cricket is religion in our country”
Popular singer and composer, Guru Randhawa, whose latest song “Ban Ja Rani” from Vidya Balan starrer “Tumhari Sulu” is ruling the chartbusters expressed that his song supporting and promoting the film.
“I am getting a great response. If you give something good the response will be good too. Songs also entertain people, so if I give good content which is for masses than I think everyone will enjoy it. My song is doing well, it is supporting and promoting the film, in return, my image is getting better” added Guru.
Model turned actor Rajneesh Duggal expressed his personal connection to participate in the cricket match, as someone in his family is suffering from cancer.
“This is a great initiative and I am always up for a social issue and this is something which is very close to my heart. Someone in my life has been suffering from it and cancer is something I’ve always personally associated with and I feel whatever I can do from my side, I must do” added Rajneesh.
