The journey began when Sonu came across a heartening story of an engineer from Katihar, Bihar – Birendra Kumar Mahato. Mahato, a 27-year-old professional, had made a profound decision to leave his secure job and establish a school for orphaned children. The engineer’s commitment to such a noble cause was so deeply influenced by Sonu Sood that he named the school after the actor, paying tribute to his altruistic spirit.
Impressed by Mahato’s dedication and the significant impact it had on the lives of 110 children, Sood pledged his support. His assistance will not only manifest in the form of a new school building but also extend towards promoting higher education for these underprivileged kids.
