Saif Ali Khan along with his entire cast and crew was spotted at the trailer launch of Kaalakaandi here in Mumbai.
The film is directed and written by Akshat Verma and is produced by Rohit Khattar and Ashi Dua. The movie features Safi Ali Khan, Sobhita Dhulipala, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Akshay Oberoi, Isha Talwar, Vijay Raaz and Deepak Dobriyal.
The film is a cross-section of Mumbai with underworld goons, doomed bankers and idealistic lovers all mixed together in this karmic tale about love, crime and living a lifetime in one night.
Kunnal Roy Kapur expressed his joy over the trailer, he said, “Kaalakaandi trailer is out, guys you must watch it. It is a lot of fun, I am sure you all are going to enjoy, so check it out”
Veteran Deepak Dobriyal also talked about the movie. He said, “We all are excited about the film, we have been waiting for the longest for the movie to release. Now it is finally releasing. Trailer is amazing and we’ve got an amazing response, it is like festival for me, I am so happy”
“It is damn fun film, we had blast shooting it, and it is a very fun script. I know this that people will end up laughing” said the newbie Sobhita Dhulipala.
In the Trailer, Saif plays the role of a man, who is been diagnosed with stomach cancer and goes on a rampage which is fuelled parties, drugs, women and colliding with random people and affecting their lives. The trailer has an urban vibe and struck a chord with fans.
This thrilling dark comedy is written and directed by Akshat Verma. The movie is slated for 12th January 2018 release.
