Acting and powerful screen presence might be his first and foremost love but now the dapper actor Ranveer Singh is all set to turn rapper in upcoming Gully Boy and graces the cover page of leading magazine, Rolling Stones.
The handsome hunk Ranveer Singh released the cover on his social media account. He captioned it, “LEGIT @RollingStoneIN”
Looking stunning in a casual outfit, a dotted funky tee, and shorts, with the new hairdo and confident look on his face, Ranveer Singh makes for the super cool rapper on the cover.
In a career spanning seven years, Singh has starred as a leading man in 10 very diverse feature films that range from period dramas to masala entertainers and modern romances. Now the actor will turn rapper in upcoming urban drama Gully Boy.
In his next, Gully Boy, Singh is realizing another artistic aim that is closest to his heart: rapping. The film, directed by Akhtar and also starring Alia Bhatt, is pegged on the recent desi hip-hop boom in India. It’s a coming-of-age story that follows a Mumbai boy’s journey from the slums to the stage.
The movie pairs him with Alia Bhatt for the first time and fans are just excited to see the two of most talented actors on screen.
Ranveer Singh is also part of Padmavati, which is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and stars Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor.
The movie is stuck in controversies over alleged allegations of “distortion of historical” facts. The movie has been postponed indefinitely.
