Salman Khan’s most anticipated film ‘Tubelight’ released yesterday. Salman Khan is at the top of his game since last few years as his every film doing phenomenal business at the box office including Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Sultan, Ek Tha Tiger, Kick and many more which released on Eid and Eid has become trademark release date for Salman Khan Films. Salman Khan’s last collaboration with Kabir khan in Bajrangi Bhaijaan received clear positive reception from the audience and critics so people were expecting same kind of magic or more than that when they came together this time with Tubelight but Tubelight received mixed reactions from critics and audience after the first day of its release, but Salman Khan is least bothered with that. Salman Khan on the first day of his film’s release joined hands PVR Cinema to contribute towards his charitable foundation Being Human on Friday and while speaking to the media in Mumbai’s typical tapori language he made it clear that Tubelight is not the film which you see with launde lapades (Gang of Boys).

Talking about the critics reaction on the film, Salman said, “The critics were really good. I was expecting minus 3 or 4 ratings from them but apparently, they have given 1.5 to 3 ratings to the film so I am pleased with that”

Talking about box-office collection of the film, Salman said, “The reports which are coming to my way stating that people are saying we can’t see Bhai (Salman) crying in the film. It’s an Eid release so I am aware that young crowd is going in theatre with anticipation of throwing chillers on screens, dancing and singing in theatre but they are not getting expected results what they are seeking with this film. This film is not to be seen with launde lapades (Gang of Boys) because they will not get their kind of enjoyment in this film. It’s a very emotional film with strong family values. I can assure that people will cry at least once while watching this film irrespective of how emotion less that person is. This film needs to be watched with family, father-mother, grandparents and children.”

When reporter asked him is this a bothering factor for him since his film is getting mixed reviews, Salman replied, “Audience were expecting different kind of film. When people saw my bond with Sohail in the film, they got emotional so we prepared the audience for a beautiful, simple and emotional films which is about brotherhood and as far as reviews are concerned, every film will have mixed reviews”

Salman even questioned reporter, “look at me, is my face looking bothered? I am not bothered, I am sure it’s going to do Ok. It’s going to get lot of respect”
Shah Rukh Khan is doing cameo in Tubelight and earlier both of them have worked in some block buster films like Karan Arjun and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai so when asked him about doing full-fledged film with Shah Rukh in future, Salman said, “He was just there for one scene in the film as a guest appearance and he can’t be there in the entire film and as of now, there are no such plans to together in film but in future we might work together in a film”.

Salman Khan starrer Tubelight also stars Late Om Puri, Mohammad Zeeshan Ayyub, Chinese actress Zhu Zhu and child actor Matin Rey Tangu in pivotal roles.
