Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer Gully Boy add a new entry to already impressive ensemble in terms of Vijay Varma!

The actor Vijay Varma is one of the rappers who will be sharing screen space in multi starrer Gully Boy.
Actor Vijay Varma, after taking down the crime world in his recent release Monsoon Shootout where he played a rookie cop is now all set to play a rapper in his next Gully Boy.

Vijay Varma shared the news on social media when he posted a picture with Ranveer Singh and captioned it, “???????? @RanveerOfficial ke saath #GullyBoy chalu”
Vijay Varma is one of the rappers who will be sharing screen space with Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, and Kalki Koechlin. Vijay will be seen playing childhood buddy to Ranveer Singh and while growing up together they turn out to be the best rappers in the vicinity.
Gully Boy is an upcoming musical drama film directed by Zoya Akhtar. It stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in lead roles. It is being co-produced by Akhtar’s Tiger Baby and Excel Entertainment productions.

The film Gully Boys is a story of 4 friends who are local rappers in the midst of overcrowded and bustling city Mumbai. The film is based on the lives of street rappers Divine (rapper) and Naezy known for their song “Mere gully mein” in Mumbai.
The movie also stars Akanksha Puri, Parmeet Sethi, Ali Asgar, Sudesh Lehri, Nassar and Siddarth Jadhav. The movie is slated for 2018 release.
