Watching Sunil Grover’s act, I felt incompetent as an actor says Salman Khan

Salman Khan is one such person who is not easy to impress but when he gets impressed with someone then he is all heart and he goes to any extent to support that person. Recently, Salman Khan did a promotional episode for his film Tubelight with comedian Sunil Grover on Sony TV called ‘Supernight with Tubelight’. In that show Salman was seen laughing uncontrollably to the funny acts of Sunil Grover and his team. Salman on Friday, joined hands with PVR Cinema to contribute towards his charitable organization Being Human in Mumbai and while speaking to the media, he was on full praise for comedian Sunil Grover saying that watching Sunil ‘s acting in that show , he felt incompetent as an actor.

When reporter asked him about avoiding going to Kapil Sharma show and instead of that going in Sunil Grover’s show for the promotion, is there sign of sore relationship with Kapil, Salman in his typical style confronted reporter by asking, “Do I need to answer your questions”

Praising Sunil Grover, Salman said, “When Sohail and me were watching him, I thought, I was most incompetent actor the way he played Mr. Bachchan’s role or Dr. Gulati and Gutthi’s role. He doesn’t try to do comedy. He just plays the character. He is the only one comedian who is not doing comedy; He just plays the character and while doing that he is serious and joking or laughing. When you see Sunil, he doesn’t look like comedian. People have very funny faces or they are sweet and cute so that makes people laugh but he is serious looking guy and the ways he pulls of these acts are simply outstanding”.

Salman Khan joined hands with PVR cinema in which audience who goes to see movie in PVR cinema can voluntarily donate Rupees 2 for Salman’s Being Human Foundation.PVR has a strong presence with 1579 screens in 126 locations across 50 Indian cities. Around 8 crore people visit each year to PVR cinema so the total donation for cause would be around 16 crore every year, talking about his new association with PVR Cinema, he said, “People can donate online or on counters while buying tickets for the film. Often people used to ask me on social media that how we can donate for Being Human so I just used to advice them to donate for needy people’s education, health or employment generation.”

“When I used to watch movies at theatres at that time tickets price were 5 to 10 rupees but now a ticket varies from 250 to 950 sp contributing 2 rupees for a cause shouldn’t be great deal for the audience. It will be completely transparent act on our part and voluntary act on audience part”

There were reports that Salman might do business expansion by starting production house and Event Company, talking about working of his Being Human foundation, Salman said, “Now, Being Human clothing, Jewellery and E-cycle brand is doing really well. I am going slow at the moment and will take one step at a time.”

He also questioned answered about making films tax-free, “I feel every good film should declare tax-free but if all films are declared tax free then what government will earn through revenues so we have to consider that as well. I feel imposing tax are good thing but it shouldn’t be increased continuously”.
