While there has been much speculation surrounding the casting of KriArj Entertainment’s Jasmine in association with Shree Narayan Singh, official sources confirm that nothing has been finalized at this juncture.
Rubbishing the rumors says Shree Narayan Singh, ” We are in the process of casting for Jasmine and are in discussions with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. However, it’s too soon to comment at this stage. Casting for a film is a creative process that cannot be rushed into. An official announcement will be made soon once things have been finalized”.
In a previous interview, shedding some light on the film’s story he said, “Jasmine is the journey of a girl from her youth to motherhood, of eternal love between a mother and a child. I have always wanted to work on a woman-centric film and I’m able to do so now.”
Shree Narayan Singh will be co-producing Jasmine with Prernaa Arora.
Shree Narayan Singh is busy with ‘Batti Gul Meter Chalu’, his next film with Shahid Kapoor in the lead. The film is slated to release on August 31, 2018.
