Anupam Kher, Mahesh Bhatt, and Akshay Kumar were present at the screening of ‘Ranchi Diaries’ on Friday. During media interaction Kher said, they never felt any pressure for the film’s release.
Anupam, on the film’s release day, tweeted, ‘’Ranchi diaries is being reviewed as a bad movie but to find out how bad is it, do visit the theaters near you.” At the screening when asked to comment on the same the veteran actor said, “People say such bad things just before the release to make you feel bad and nervous, and to make you feel defensive. But I think it’s wonderful, we will enjoy the film without any pressure of releasing a super amazing film.
Actually we never felt any pressure for the film’s release.Their journey from here will only go up now, and we have been receiving great response from the audience.”
Kher said he feels proud that ‘Ranchi Diaries’ was able to release in 620+ screens and 1800+shows per day.
Director Mahesh Bhatt who was present at the screening said, “There are many spectators but very few performers. I want to salute these performers who had the guts to work hard and become part of the industry. Now that they have entered the arena, they have a long way to go.”
‘Ranchi Diaries’ has been produced by Anupam Kher, Rashmin Majithia, and Coconut motion pictures. The film stars Anupam Kher, Jimmy Shergill, Soundarya Sharma, Himansh Kohli, and Taaha. The film is about young aspiring actress/model and her Godfather who can do whatever it takes to make it big in life.
