On Wednesday, Tiger Shroff, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Sabbir Khan attended song launch titled ‘Swag’ from their upcoming film Munna Micheal in Mumbai. While speaking to media, Tiger Shroff stated that, with Munna Michael, he got the chance to play his two heroes that is Jackie Shroff and Michael Jackson.
Tiger is huge fan of Michael Jackson’ dancing skills and through this film, Tiger is paying tribute to him and on the other hand his character Munna is a lot like his father Jacky Shroff who is known for his bindass and carefree attitude so when asked Tiger about experience of working in this film, he said, “I like to thank my director Sabbir Khan because he has given me chance to exploit most of my potential in so early in my career that was the reason I got to play character like this. The character of Munna is also close to me because when I think of Munna, I think of my father so for me its two in one (Jacky Shroff and Michael Jackson) and with this film, I got my both heroes Jackie Shroff and Michael Jackson.
English actor Tom Holland is quite happy with the news that Tiger Shroff will be doing the Hindi dub for his role in the upcoming Marvel superhero flick Spider-Man: Homecoming. In an interview with film journalist, Rajeev Masand the 21-year-old actor said that he was happy that the Heropanti actor has been chosen to dub Spider-Man in Hindi and called a “much better” dancer than himself. “He is such a cool dancer. Whoa! I mean he is a real dancer,” he said during the interview. On the other hand, Rambo star Sylvester Stallone also wished Tiger when he heard that, they are making remake of Rambo in India, he tweeted, “I read recently they are remaking Rambo in India… I wish them luck.. Great character…” replying to that praise Tiger said, “It’s very overwhelming. When Sylvester sir tweeted for us that was really motivating and kind of him to say such lovely things because the whole team was motivated after that and as for Tom Holland, I am big fan of him and big fan of spider man franchise so that’s like another high for me so I am very thankful to both of them.”
Talking about experience teaching dance to Nawazuddin for the Swag song in the film, he said, “I feel learning is difficult but teaching is much easier for me. If it’s in your body already then I know the key of that step like how should I explain that step to Nawaz bhai or how could I make step easier for him or how could I break each step into small parts to teach him so teaching becomes easier for me”.
In the song, Tiger is seen fed up of Nawazuddin inability to dance, so when asked about dancing with Nawazuddin in the song, Tiger said, “It was just acting in that song but in reality, it was fun teaching Nawaz bhai. He is very hardworking actor. Whatever he does, he puts his 100% into it so it was fun to dance with Nawaz bhai. He hasn’t danced in his life so before each one step we used to practice around 100 times”.
Tiger is brand ambassador of Shiksha Foundation so when asked him about Shoojit Sircar tweet in which he stated that authorities should ban kid’s reality show as he feels such shows play with the purity and emotions of children, replying to that Tiger said, “I don’t want to mess with him (Shoojit) but I have a different point of view on this. I feel its (reality shows) great because it gives a child a direction. He or she can channelize that restless positive energy that they have and it gives them direction at very early age which is fantastic. I know education is important but extra-curricular activities are also equally important for a child to have balanced life. It is very important to have exposure of extra activities and studies are not everything”.
