Veteran Actor Anil Kapoor, who is sharing screen space with his nephew Arjun Kapoor in forthcoming Mubarakan says working with his nephew has been emotional.
Team Mubarakan, which included Anil Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Ileana D’cruz, Athiya Shetty and filmmaker Anees Bazmee were spotted at the trailer launch of the film.
Movie marks first of its kind real-life “uncle and nephew” outing for Anil Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor in comedy genre and veteran actor talked about working with real-life nephew.
“It has been a wonderful and emotional experience working with Arjun Kapoor. He is my relative, he is like my son, he is my brother’s son and all that, I think it was very emotional-professionalism working with him.”
“I was a professional, I was competitive but before every scene, I would discuss with director Anees Bazmee that we’re working with Arjun Kapoor for the first time, it should be Arjun’s best film” added Anil Kapoor.
Anil Kapoor also added that though he is happy to work with Arjun Kapoor but he will truly be happy when Mubarakan turns out be his nephew’s most successful film.
“Whne Boney Kapoor or my mom watches this film, for that matter all our friends, it should be Arjun Kapoor’s most successful film ever; when the movie become successful only than I and Anees will be happy. That is the spirit with which we have made this film” added Anil.
Mubarakan also stars Ileana D’cruz and Athiya Shetty, who play love interests to the double of Arjun Kapoor. The movie is a Punjabi wedding comic caper.
Anil Kapoor also talked about movie being a pure family entertainer, he said, “After a long time we’re doing a film, which is a real and pure family entertainer, there is not be a single double meaning dialogue” added Anil.
