Actor Sidharth Malhotra and Parineeti Chopra are coming back together for the second time after Hasee Toh Phasee.
The title of the film which was initially called Shotgun Shaadi is now locked and has a more Desi vibe to it, the movie is now titled, Jabariya Jodi.
Producer Ekta Kapoor confirmed the film on her social media profile and stated that the shooting has begun. She shared a picture of clapboard and captioned it, “Filming begins for @ParineetiChopra and @S1dharthM starrer “Jabariya Jodi”. #JabariyaJodi #ShootBegins @balajimotionpic @ShaileshRSingh @RuchikaaKapoor”
According to the reports, the film is based on Pakadwa Vivaah where Sidharth will be seen playing a Bihari thug and Parineeti will be the love-interest! The film is directed by Shailesh R Singh.
Apart from Jabariya Jodi, the duo Parineeti Chopra is busy with other projects as well!
Parineeti has her kitty filled with Kesari, Namaste England and Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar.
She is paired with Akshay Kumar in Kesari, which is an upcoming period war drama film. The film is directed by Anurag Singh. It tells the story of Havildar Ishar Singh who participates in the Battle of Saragarhi (in which an army of 21 Sikhs fought against 10,000 Afghans in 1897) while yearning for the respect of his estranged daughter.
As for Namaste England and Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, actress Parineeti is paired with Arjun Kapoor in both the movies.
