Suniel Shetty was present at the Anchor premier league on Sunday. He flipped the toss coin commenting the beginning of the league. During media, interaction said, he is happy to see film industry is showing support for sports.
Nowadays, the film industry is showing support by making films on sports and sportsmen when asked to comment on the same, Suniel said, I think it should have happened years ago. In a way, it helps us keep the legend alive. I am happy that such films are being made and more importantly, people are watching them. which means there is a market and appreciation for such films. Now that they are making a film on ‘1983, World Cup’, it will encourage a lot of people to participate in sports.”
Suniel Shetty’s son Ahan Shetty is the next star kid to make his Bollywood debut in a Sajid Nadiadwala film.
When asked about Aahan’s debut in Bollywood, Suniel said, “Very soon, this year maybe. He will start shooting for his film this year and hopefully, it will release also right away.”
Sajid Nadiadwala has directed films like Kick, Baaghi, Housefull, 2 States, Highway and many more.
Listing the advice Suniel gave Aahan for his debut, he said, ” not much but I told him to be the producer’s actor, to be sincere to his job. to work less, enjoy your life and definitely keep playing sports.”
Suniel Shetty was last seen in a negative role in the 2-17 release ‘A Gentleman‘ directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK co-starring Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez.
