Aamir Khan confirms that the trailer of upcoming movie, Secret Superstar will be unveiled today on 2nd August during the early hours of evening.
A couple of days back Aamir Khan had shared a new poster for the film featuring the lead actor Zaira Wasim. Today, he again shared the teaser, where Mr. Perfectionist is seen donning a rock-star look and Zaira is playing with an acoustic guitar wearing her school uniform.
Aamir Khan dropped the teaser poster on social media; he captioned it, “Hey guys, the Secret Superstar trailer will be out at 6.30/45 pm today. Here is the poster of the film. Love. a.”
Secret Superstar is directed by debutant Advait Chandan and co-produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao, Zee Studios and Akash Chawla. The film is slated to release this year during the Diwali weekend.
Dangal girl Zaira Wasim, plays the role of a 14-year-old girl named Insia, who desires to be a singer much to the chagrin of her dad. She then decides to make her own YouTube channel in which she posts videos of herself singing while covering her face in a burkha.
Aamir’s character who is a music director and is impressed by Insia’s musical gift helps the little girl to fulfils her dream.
