Aamir Khan – Urge People To Offer Voluntary Labour

Aamir Khan’s Paani Foundation has become successful over the last two years since its inception. Now the actor, who has been doing Shramdaan (voluntary labour) for the foundation every year, invites everyone to offer the same.

Actor Aamir Khan just took to his social media account and shared a video, in which he is inviting everyone to offer their contribution, Voluntary Labour, in making Maharashtra full of water.
He captioned the video, “Come be a part of the movement. love. a #Jalmitra #shramadaan”
In the video, Aamir Khan is seen saying, “When was the last night you enjoyed the mesmerizing fragrance of Soil? When was the last time you enjoyed fresh lovely breeze? When was last time you offered a helping hand to people living in Villages, away from cities? I would like to invite you all on the behalf of Paani Foundation, be a Jal Mitr. We are trying to make Maharashtra full of water, come help us out. Come and offer voluntary labour to our brothers and sisters living in village”
Aamir has invited all the citizens from any part of the country, who are willing, can volunteer and contribute towards the foundation in a specific pre-decided window. The actor-filmmaker will encourage more people to be a part of this movement to make Maharashtra water-abundant.
Eminent people like Reena Datta, Kiran Rao, Satyajit Bhatkal and Svati Chakravarty, besides Aamir, are part of Paani Foundation, which also started Water Cup in 2016 with just three talukas.
On the work front, Aamir Khan is shooting for Thugs of Hindostan also starring Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh in lead.
The upcoming action-adventure film is written and directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. It is based on Philip Meadows Taylor’s 1839 fiction novel Confessions of a Thug. It is set to be released during Diwali on 7 November 2018.
