Actress Esha Gupta attended ‘Namaste America’ an Indo-American association for art and culture initiative on Wednesday in Mumbai. While interacting with media, Esha stated that her upcoming film ‘Aankhen 2’ and ‘Hera Pheri 3’ shoot will begin in the summer of 2018.

Talking about her future projects, Esha said, “Both ‘Aankhen 2’ and ‘Hera Pheri 3’ will go on floors in summer of 2018 but I am starting another project in February so we will make that announcement very soon so there is lot of time to start shoot for ‘Aankhen 2’ and ‘Hera Pheri 3’.

Talking about ‘Namaste America’ initiative, Esha said, “I want to thank Mr. Atul and Mr. Bajaj as they are running this amazing NGO ‘Namaste America’. I always talk politically incorrect rather than being politically correct. Now we are living in war-torn world where people are fighting for land but it’s really nice thing that India and America are coming together. In the times, where people are talking about building walls, America and India are forming a relationship. It’s all about culture and unity so I am happy that we are building bridges and not building walls and people who know this they will understand the pun intended so I am happy that India is taking step forward in that front”

“This association deals with art, culture, education and sports. When you try to build certain relationship then you should take step forward together as it is meaningless to try from only one point. The kind of culture and values India has that you will not see in America and similarly, we also have take a lot from their technological advancements as they are best in that so it’s very good collaboration and I feel it’s always better to walk with someone when you have to achieve long term goals”

When asked Esha what she likes about America, she said, ” America is great in their food and education but I have studied in India and UK. I feel people of America are really nice and warm at least with whom I have encountered with. People have lot of misconception that there is lot racism but it’s not the case because I have been there in my childhood and now as well so I haven’t experienced anything of that sort”

Talking about Hollywood and Bollywood connection, Esha said, “Now Indians are also taking their films in America and if you see after hollywood, people only recognise bollywood as popular film industry in the world. Whenever I go there people feel that I am South-American but when I introduce myself as bollywood actress then they get amazed with it so I feel it’s not that only hollywood is coming to India but bollywood is also going places”.

Esha Gupta last seen in Milan Lutharia’s ‘Baadshaho’ .
