Mumbai came on the roads to welcome the Queen’s Baton which arrived in Mumbai from sea at Gateway of India after covering 27 states and 16,652 kilometres. The Common Wealth Games having a theme “Come Out and Play”, is to begin in New Delhi on 3rd October, 2010, where 71 countries would be participating.
The attached photos is of Abha Singh, Director Postal Services, who was selected to run in the relay holding the Queen’s Baton at Hutatma Chowk, for her tremendous work in the public field and leadership qualities.
