Abhishek thanks fans for wishing Ash on baby shower

It was a grand baby shower ceremony for mother-to-be Aishwarya Rai and while celebrities had poured in to congratulate her, Abhishek Bachchan has thanked their fans for wishing her on “Godh Bharai“.

“Good morning everyone. Thank you so much for all the wishes for Aishwarya on her Godh Bharai. Read out some of your messages to her,” Abhishek posted on Twitter page Wednesday.

The baby shower had taken place at the Bachchan household Jalsa Tuesday and actors like Saira Banu, Asha Parekh and Dimple Kapadia, as well as designers like Neeta Lulla and Shaina NC had turned up.

But the day-long festive ritual hasn’t stopped the 35-year-old actor from going back to work. He is currently shooting for Abbas-Mustan’s “Players”.

“So after a day filled with tradition, Indian customs and ladies, it’s back to work. Gotta start playing again for players!” he posted.

“Very excited with the way the film is shaping up. It’s looking great. Will let y’all know when we release the 1st look. Will be soon!” he added.
