Experimental actress Huma Qureshi who is part of AKFPL & Tumbhi’s Shorts, an anthology of five short films, turned driver at the pre-shooting stage.
Huma plays the title role in director Shlok Sharma’s Sujata, one of the five films in Shorts. Huma recollects, “We had to shoot in Pune for a day. I sat behind the wheels and drove all our team all the way till our destination. I love driving on the highway.” And what made the experience more adventurous for them is that it was raining all through the journey.
Sujata is a riveting tale of a young girl, who is struggling to come out of the clutches of her tormenting cousin brother. Shorts will hit the marquee on 12th July 2013.
