Aishwarya Rai Bachchan stepped out to promote the Marathi film Hrudayantar by the debutant director and fashion designer Vikram Phadnis.
Aishwarya was present to launch the music of the film and talked about the movie with a lot of awe, she said, “Beautiful, sensitive and emotional journey, which is the way life, is! With all its celebration and wonderful surprises, which we encounter on every turn on our journey, so I am really forward to this film. I am transported by the music experience of the film”
The film stars Subodh Bhave, Mukta Barve, Trushnika Shinde and Nishtha Vaidya. It’s slated for release on July 7, 2017.
Aishwarya Rai also expressed her love for regional cinema and expressed that she would love to do a Marathi film.
“I would love to work in Marathi movie. I started with a Tamil film. I’ve obviously by my choices over the years; I’ve made it very clear that I am an actor. It doesn’t matter where the movie is being made, or in which language or with whom, or by whom, I’ve been one to cater to all these expected norms. I’ve carved my own journey and my career is proof of that. I would love to work in Marathi films if the script excites me” said Aishwarya, when asked about doing a Marathi movie.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made her debut in a Tamil film titled Iruvar in 1997, after that she did Rahul Rawail’s Aur Pyar Ho Gaya, opposite Bobby Deol in the same year.
Her last screen appearance was in Karan Johar‘s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil in 2016.
